Opening Word

The 16 Air Assault Brigade is an online unit of gamers that enjoy playing realistic Military shooters. Another way of describing us may be as a MilSim squad. Before you enlist it is highly recommended you read through the information available in the navigation menu. Only then should you decide whether or not to apply.

It's worth noting that our training evaluates not only your skill in the game you're playing but also your personality and attitude. We're all here to have fun and enjoy ourselves while playing games and don't want someone to come along and ruin it... we'd rather take someone who fits in but isn't necessarily the best in the game - after all, we can train you to be more skilled in game over time.

There are several steps that go into becoming a member of the 16 Air Assault Brigade as seen below.

Enlist Today - Click Here for Information

Step 1.
Application
(Time: 24 hours)

Your first step in becoming a member of the 16AA is to write an application. Your application will be reviewed and based on that application you will either be rejected as an Applicant or Processed for the next stage of your Recruitment.
(Hint: Read through some other Approved applications to get a feel for what we are expecting).

Step 2.
Interview
(Time: 10-15 minutes)

If your written application was satisfactory you will then have to set up an interview with one of our RRO staff, the names of which will have been sent to your email address. The interview will last between ten and fifteen minutes during which we will attempt to get a feel for your character. If you pass your interview you your application will be Approved and you will progress to our Recruit Training program.

Step 3.
Recruit Training - Phase 1

When you are accepted to the 16 Air Assault Brigade as a recruit you will begin your phase one training. Part of that is playing with the existing members of the group so you get to know them and the way we play.

The next part is a more formal training session which will give you information on the unit, how to move as part of a section, reaction to effective enemy fire, fire and Manoeuvre and a whole host of other items.

Step 4.
Phase 2 and Section Assignment
Once you pass the phase one training you will be assigned to a section to start your role as a private in the 16 Air Assault Brigade.

You will also begin your phase 2 training which include the following : Navigation, Section Attacks, Role Selection and a final excercise.

Step 5.
Conversion to Role

Once you have completed the training program and your Instructors are satisfied enough with your application of what you've been taught, you will do your conversion to role training - or specialisation - in your section, be that as a flyer in the air wing, a mortar man or any other of the host of roles we have in the 16AA.

You will now have access to more areas on the website and be eligible for participation in competitive matches.

Most of all, though, you will be a full member of the 16AA.
